Poland’s 18 largest private companies have established the Polish Global Entrepreneurs Council (PGEC). The Council’s goal is to protect the Polish economic interest by increasing competitiveness of the national economy and the number of Polish global companies. On 15 October 2023, the Adamed Foundation, in collaboration with the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), organised the second edition of ADAMED SmartUP Academy in Spain. This year’s free workshops, attended by nearly 100 secondary school students, were held under the theme “Science in the Anthropocene Era. Chemistry and Physics as the Answer”.

The Italian branch office of Adamed Pharma has signed a marketing and distribution agreement with Organon Italia, strengthening its position on the Italian market.

7 November marks the anniversary of the birth of Maria Skłodowska-Curie, the only woman to date to be twice honoured with the Nobel Prize. A survey of teenage female science enthusiasts[1] shows that the scientist remains the biggest idol, with as many as 85% of respondents mentioning her.

The CPHI Pharmaceutical Fair is the largest event of its kind in the pharmaceutical industry, bringing together more than 100,000 industry representatives from around the world. This is an opportunity not only to develop business, but also to build international recognition.

In mid-October of this year, the third debate in the series “Adherence to Medical Recommendations as a Key Element of Successful Therapy” was held in Madrid. The event was organised by Adamed Laboratorios, Adamed’s branch in Spain, in cooperation with BioInnnova Consulting and the Assembly of Madrid.

ALSTAL Construction Group has received the 1st degree prize in the “Construction Project of the Year 2022” competition for the completion of the P4 packaging building and the warehouse of ready dosage forms of the Production and Logistics Centre of Adamed Pharma in Pabianice. The competition is organised by the Polish Union of Construction Engineers and Technicians.

Starting from September, Adamed Expert now features a section for nurses and midwives. It includes objective and reliable medical content to support the nursing staff’s lifelong education and professional development pursuits, but also features legal advice and psychological support articles intended for this HCP group.

Adamed Pharma representatives returned to Karpacz for the latest edition of the Economic Forum. It is Central and Eastern Europe’s largest economic event. The theme of this year’s Forum was “New Values of the Old Continent – Europe on the Threshold of Changes”.

Once more, the first weekend in September marked our celebration of the Days o Pabianice alongside our team members, their families and local residents. During the two days of the event, many attractions prepared for entire families awaited the participants, including a health zone prepared by Adamed Pharma. This year we conducted more than 1000 tests and consultations during the special days.

On 11 September, during the closing gala of the ninth edition of the ADAMED SmartUP programme, ten winners of the main award and three new scholarship holders were announced by the Adamed Foundation. 70 thousand students from across Poland have so far applied for the programme in its various editions.

86% of respondents who took part in a survey commissioned by Adamed believe that Poland needs more support for schools and parents in the field of psychological assistance for children and the youth. To improve students’ mental wellbeing, the Adamed Foundation has partnered with the Życie warte jest rozmowy Foundation to lead the “Supportive School” project.

In October 2023, the Maria Grzegorzewska University in Warsaw will again offer a postgraduate study programme for school counsellors and psychologists within the Psychology study area. The “Psychological support for children and the youth in crisis” course was first launched in 2021 and has been widely popular ever since. Enrolment is possible until 30 September and can be completed online.

After last year’s highly popular debate, Adamed, acting through its Spanish representative office Adamed Laboratorios, again decided to address health in a series of debates organised in coordination with the parliaments of Spanish autonomous communities. This year’s first debate, entitled: “Patient compliance as the key to treatment success” was held in Seville.

Adamed Pharma has consistently been implementing a policy of responsible social impact. This idea is reflected by the long-standing successful ADAMED SmartUP education programme. As part of the company’s activities which support the academic development of the most talented youth, 16 July 2023 saw the inauguration of the 9th science camp organised under the programme.

Our aid efforts and activities for Ukraine have once again been recognised. At the invitation of the UK government, Adamed hosted a unique international “Ukrainian Recovery Conference”. During the event, our representative had the opportunity to share information about the range of aid Adamed provides to Ukraine.

Adamed Pharma’s Supervisory Board has appointed Grzegorz Chełmicki, Chief Financial Officer, to the Adamed Pharma S.A. Management Board.

Adamed Pharma is launching its latest combination drug containing an innovative composition of solifenacin and tamsulosin, which is an important addition to the therapies available in the field of pharmacotherapy for urinary tract complaints in men caused by benign prostatic hyperplasia.

On 13 June 2023, the “Golden OTIS with Diamonds 2023” gala was held at Polish Press Agency’s (PAP) headquarters, where, as a result of the vote of the 25-member jury, the award went to the ADAMED SmartUP programme. The “Golden OTIS with Diamonds 2023” Trust Awards were presented to the winners by the Speaker of the Senate, professor Tomasz Grodzki.

Adamed Pharma is not only one of the leaders in the Polish pharmaceutical market, but also an active foreign investor. In Vietnam, the company acquired a majority stake (70 percent) in local pharmaceutical company Davipharm at the end of 2017, and a deal to acquire the remaining 30 percent stake was closed in April.

Małgorzata Adamkiewicz, MD, PhD, Co-owner and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Adamed Pharma, has been named winner of the TOP CHARITY 2023 award, granted by a vote of Internet users.

Adamed Pharma was ranked first among employers in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry in the prestigious Forbes Polska ranking: Poland’s Best Employers 2023. Editors of the magazine prepared the ranking together with the international research institute Statista. The survey covered around 1,900 top employers in 25 industries with at least 250 employees.

During the 20th anniversary edition of the Golden OTIS Trust Awards, Adamed Pharma was honoured as many as twice. At a gala held on 25 April in Warsaw, Adamed received an award in the “Prevention and Education Campaigns” category for last year’s “Adamed for the Family” campaign and the accompanying “Health of Poles” report.

As many as six good practices of Adamed Pharma were recognised in this year’s edition of the Responsible Business Forum’s report “Responsible Business in Poland. Good Practices 2022”. This is the Forum’s most important periodic publication, released since 2002. The report is an overview of companies’ CSR, ESG and sustainability activities.

At the end of February 2023, the Spanish representative office of Adamed signed an agreement with the University in Alcalá de Henares to open a department for the development of central nervous system projects.

The motto of this year’s 14th Spring Pharmaceutical Conference, which took place on 29th and 30th of March in Warsaw, was “optimization and efficiency.” The honorary host of the event was Adamed Pharma.

“Is Poland secure in terms of medications?” This issue was discussed in an Oxford-style debate during the 8th Health Challenges Congress in Katowice, Poland. The participants of the debate paid particular attention to drug security of Poland in light of the war and pandemic.

In the latest edition of the Polityka Insight report, which was issued on 10 March, analysts reviewed how National Champions take care of Poland’s security.

The 2nd Women's Health Congress presented another opportunity to discuss the health of Polish women. For 15 years now, the Healthcare Journalists’ Association has been running a contest to select the “Medical Journalist of the Year”. The coveted award is conferred on representatives of the press, radio, television, and the digital media who cover health-related topics. This year, Adamed Pharma was pleased to be a partner of the special prize category.

“Vectors of the Heart” – awarded for over 20 years by the Employers of Poland – went to Dr Małgorzata Adamkiewicz and Adamed Pharma as a company that, after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, became involved in immediate medical assistance to Ukrainian citizens.

Adamed Pharma works in collaboration with the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Cardiology in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, to promote education in the area of cardiology. Adamed has been running a representative office in Uzbekistan since 2020.

A comprehensive report on the issue with comments from experts – Prof. Małgorzata Janas-Kozik from the Polish Psychiatric Association (PTP), Prof. Maciej Kupczyk of the Polish Society of Allergology (PTA) and Prof. Filip Szymański from the Polish Society of Diseases of Civilization (PTCC) – was presented on 23 November in Warsaw.

In early October, Adamed’s office in Tashkent was officially opened in a new location. The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of diplomacy, public administration, and the academia. The new headquarters reflects Adamed’s growth and development in the Uzbek market.

CPhI Worldwide is a key event of the pharmaceutical industry that brings together the suppliers and customers of pharmaceutical products, broadening their opportunities in terms of acquiring contacts, establishing business relations and merging business partners. Every year, the event gathers dozens of thousands of representatives of the pharmaceutical industry.

By working together, Adamed Pharma and Good Sleeper created the Ukrainian language version of Good Sleeper, the well-known application supporting the treatment for insomnia. Until 31 December 2022, users from Ukraine will be able to use one of 10,000 free access codes to the basic version of the application. It will be available to both to asylum-seekers and those staying in their homeland.

In 2021 the Maria Grzegorzewska University launched a new postgraduate study programme in Psychological Support for Children and Adolescents in Crisis at the Faculty of Psychology. The form and content of the programme was received with a lot of interest by prospective students. Another edition of the programme will be launched this year, once again in partnership with Adamed Pharma.

As every year, representatives of Adamed Pharma attended the Economic Forum in Karpacz. Participation in the biggest economic and business event in Central and Eastern Europe offers an array of opportunities for in-depth discussions on various topics such as the healthcare system and the functioning of the pharmaceutical market.

Following the success of the first edition, the business accelerator AcexHealth has again invited Andalusia-based companies to join forces. The group includes start-ups and other fast-growing innovative players in the healthcare sector. This year’s partner of the program is Adamed Pharma, a company which has been active in the Spanish market for years.

​On the first Saturday of September, Pabianice, the town where Adamed Pharma S.A. is based, celebrated its annual feast. The Responsible Business Forum published the 20th edition of the “Responsible Business in Poland. Best Practice” Report. This year, Adamed Pharma was again distinguished for its activities. The publication is the largest review of CSR and sustainable growth initiatives in Poland.

The Production and Logistics Center in Pabianice, one of the most advanced facilities of this kind in the Polish pharmaceutical industry, is currently undergoing expansion. Through the implementation of the project, the pharmaceutical and biotechnology company Adamed Pharma S.A. is set to improve access to medicines for patients in Poland.

Adamed Pharma has already donated 45 hybrid cardiac telerehabilitation kits to 9 health facilities in Poland. The kits have been provided since March 2022 as part of the company's social initiative under the “New Heart” national programme for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases.

According to the new report by the National Institute for Silver Economy, as many as 74.9% of Polish senior citizens had problems with access to healthcare during the second year of the pandemic. This is almost 9 percentage points more than in 2020.

The Demo Day on 12 January 2022 saw the announcement of winners of the 11th edition (Autumn 2021) of the MIT Enterprise Forum CEE programme. Following a session of the Steering Committee with Marcin Szczeciński, Adamed’s Capital Investment Manager, as one of its members, three finalists of the 2021 edition were named. Adamed Pharma has signed a contract with Siemens Polska for the implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), which will include the digitalization of production orders, thus significantly reducing the workload of managing production documentation.

CPhI worldwide is the largest event in pharmaceutical industry in the world, which allows participants to learn about the latest trends in the pharmaceutical sector. This year, the participants of the event had an opportunity to take part in it again in a stationary form, in compliance with all sanitary safety standards. The meeting was held in Milan on November 9-11.

Adamed together with the Department of Preventive Medicine of the Ministry of Health of Vietnam on 10thNovember inaugurated the project "For health of Vietnamese people". The meeting was chaired by Deputy Minister of Health, Tran Van Thuan.

Adamed received the certificate of Good Distribution Practice (GDP). The certificate was awarded after a thorough inspection by the Chief Pharmaceutical Inspector, which took place in July 2021.

Prof. dr hab. Marcin Kołaczkowski, the Lead Scientist at Adamed Pharma and Vice-Dean for Development and Science of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Jagiellonian University Medical College was the first laureate of Roman Kaliszan Prize awarded by the Medical University of Gdańsk, the Polpharma Scientific Foundation and the Scientific Society of Gdańsk.

On 7th October this year during a press conference, Adamed – a Polish pharmaceutical and biotechnology company announced the certification of the EU-GMP quality standard at the production plant in Binh Duong near Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. The EU-GMP certificate was obtained for the production (production and packaging) of non-sterile products in capsules, hard shells and tablets.

Adamed has concluded a cooperation agreement in the field of scholarship and internship programs with Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University in Almaty.

One of the most modern Production and Logistics Centre in Polish pharmacy is being developed in Pabianice. On 2nd April, 2021, Adamed has successfully completed the certification process of Vietnam’s first HP Zone for the production of drugs in solid forms.The zone operates at a production facility in Binh Duong near Saigon. This is another milestone for Adamed in terms of international expansion as well as enabling patients from Asia and the Pacific greater access to modern treatment methods.

Defeating the SARS-CoV2 virus and ending the COVID-19 pandemic are the most important global challenges that the entire global healthcare system has been facing for over a year. Wednesday, October 28, saw the roll-out of the second edition of ADAMED SmartUP program in Vietnam. One hundred students from the Polish-Vietnamese Friendship High School in Hanoi selected for the program will take part in an intensive English language course with native speakers and in scientific workshops.

The global pandemic continues to spread. The number of deaths from COVID-19 across the world has exceeded one million people. The second wave of the pandemic is gaining momentum, and we must take special care of our health and the safety of our families. At this point, the key issue is widespread and readily available education on ways to prevent infection.

Pharmaceutical company Adamed was named one of the National Champions in the “Polityka Insight” ranking. “National Champions” is a report that classifies domestic enterprises by their size, status in the industry, innovation, and activity on foreign markets. Adamed made it to the ranking for the first time, ending up in 12th place as the best Aspiring National Champion.

Pharmaceutical and biotechnology company Adamed is one of the largest Polish innovators in terms of patent applications.

It gives us great pleasure to announce that the Management Board of Adamed Pharma has been joined by Magdalena Tomaszewska, who took up the position of Director of Business Operations. Ms Tomaszewska’s career has been associated with the pharmaceutical industry for over 25 years.

Adamed has been honoured with the “Investor without Borders” title awarded by the European Economic Congress in Katowice. The award is given to the most efficient Polish investors pursuing international expansion. The winners were announced at a gala ceremony held at the International Congress Centre in Katowice on 2 September 2020.

On Tuesday 28 July 2020, Magdalena Krakowiak, Head of Public Affairs & CSR in Vietnam and Chairwoman of the International Quality Medicines (IQMED) – Generics and Biosimilar, the Sector Committee of EuroCham, which Adamed Pharma is a member of, attended a Dialogue with HCMC's Leaders in Vietnam.

Adamed pharmaceutical and biotechnology company is a co-writer of the Whitebook chapter issued by The European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham), which is a non-governmental organization of European business representatives in the country.

On the 13th March this year, the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medicinal Devices and Biocidal Products has approved a change to the official approval for human use and sale of the drug ARECHIN

Adamed was recognised in the prestigious ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Europe’ report prepared by the London Stock Exchange and consequentially deemed as one of the most inspiring companies in Europe. Furthermore, Adamed CEO Maciej Adamkiewicz was invited to represent one of two of the 1000 recognised companies to share his story and experiences at the ceremony in Brussels.

The jury of the competition organised by the ISBnews Agency recognised Adamed as ‘Most Credible in Polish Economy’ in the category of Medicine.

On 16 October this year, Bartłomiej Żerek, Head of Innovation at Adamed, took part in the debate ‘Science – Business – Innovation: The Challenges Faced by Contemporary Medicine’, held in Warsaw during the ‘Health Ambassador’ [Ambasador Zdrowia] Gala Ceremony. It touched on such topics as synergy between business and medicine.

Adamed has received the PAIH award from the Polish Trade and Investment Agency (PAIH) in the international expansion category. This award is intended to recognise the achievements of Adamed’s international expansion policy, resulting in its extended product coverage (6 continents in 65 countries), and in particular its investment in Vietnam.

Adamed has become one of the three founders of this year’s National Science Centre Awards. The ceremony to announce award winners was held on 10 October this year in Sukiennice, in Kraków. Every year, the National Science Centre invites businesses engaged in social and research activities to act as founders for its awards worth PLN 50,000 each.

A major meeting between Poland’s leading companies and representatives of the American business community was held on 4 October this year in New York, which was organised by the PZU. It was attended by Maciej Adamkiewicz, President of the Board for Adamed Pharma S.A., and Katarzyna Dubno, Director for External Relations and Health Economics.

On 1st of October, the first stage of the application process to the ADAMED SmartUP programme will begin. Scientifically talented youngsters will test their knowledge in solving scientific problems during a specially designed alternative reality game.

The 8th European Forum for New Ideas took place in Sopot between 26 and 28 of September this year. It is one of the region’s most important conferences dedicated to discussing global trends, new ideas and the future of Europe.

From 15 to 18 September 2018, Marcin Feder, Head of the In Silico Laboratory, attended on behalf of Adamed the 3rd Central European Biomedical Congress: ‘News on biomarker discovery and research innovations in medicine and biomedical sciences’, which took place in Kraków.

The report indicates developing and the most dynamic small and medium enterprises in Europe which are of crucial importance for future economic growth, innovation and job creation.

The Polish Cardiac Society showed its appreciation for Adamed’s contribution to the development of Polish cardiology for the 10th time, by awarding it with the title of “Partner of Polish Cardiology 2018”.

An official visit of representatives of the Vietnamese Ministry of Health took place at Adamed on 12 September this year. The meeting was hosted by Maciej Adamkiewicz, President of the Management Board of Adamed Pharma.

During the 28th Economic Forum in Krynica, Adamed became a laureate of the Healthcare Forum Ranking in the “Medicine production” category.

Adamed became a laureate of the “Innovation Ambassadors” competition, organised by the Business Institute. In its selection of winners, the competition chapter took into account the company’s openness to changes, its creativity, innovativeness and support of science.

Adamed has become a strategic partner of an innovative field of studies at the Jagiellonian University. A Drug Discovery & Development (DD&D) course will be conducted at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Jagiellonian University’s Medical College starting from the upcoming academic year.

On 15 July the fourth science camp organised as part of the ADAMED SmartUP programme commenced. For the next two weeks students from all around Poland will be facing issues inherent in exact and natural sciences.

From 25 to 26 June, the Vision for Development Forum was held in Gdynia, during which representatives of the largest Polish companies, owners of small, medium and large enterprises as well as innovators discussed the areas of strategic importance for the development of Poland.

On 25 May 2018 the capital city of Vietnam, Hanoi, hosted the MEET EUROPE conference organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam and the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham), which the Adamed Group is member of.

For the seventh time, Polityka weekly along with Deloitte and the Responsible Business Forum awarded Polish companies for engagement and special achievements in promoting and implementing the idea of corporate social responsibility.

On May 9 2018, a seminar was held on “Patentability issues in the fields of pharmacy and biotechnology”. This was organized jointly by UPRP and the European Patent Office (EPO). The Adamed Group was represented by Katarzyna Matusiewicz, Polish and European patent attorney. She discussed problems related to patenting fusion proteins developed during the oncological project run by the Adamed Group.

In contemporary times, the technological revolution happens right in front of our eyes. Those who create them are true visionaries, and thanks to their ideas, boldness, and hard work this vision is turned into success.

The international nature of the Adamed Group’s activity was recognized by the award committee of “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna.” Małgorzata Adamkiewicz, MD-PhD, Chief Executive Officer of the Adamed Group, and Maciej Adamkiewicz, CEO of Adamed Pharma S.A, were granted “The Visionaries of 2018” award.

On 8 May, a meeting with President Andrzej Duda took place in the Column Hall of the Presidential Palace. The meeting was dedicated to innovative companies entering the market.

On 18 April 2018 a new investment into R&D was opened by Adamed Group, which is an important stage between scientific activity and production. The area of the R&D Pilot Plant makes it possible to conduct effective research and development works on medicinal products of Adamed Group.

On 16 March 2018, a meeting of Minister Mateusz Morawiecki was held at the Chancellery with representatives of the business world. A conference regarding the Business Constitution was also organised. Adamed Group was represented during the meeting by Paweł Roszczyk, Managing Director and Katarzyna Dubno, Director for External Relations and Health Economics.

European Innovation Week was held this year from 6–10 November in Lublin. A panel discussion in the ‘BIO-ENERGO’ block on 7 November featured Bartłomiej Żerek, Head of Innovation of the R&D Department, as one of the speakers. During the discussion, he presented the results of our company’s cooperation with scientific centres, covering issues connected with biotechnology.

Dr. Małgorzata Adamkiewicz, MD, General Director of the Adamed Group, took part in a panel entitled “Company goes shopping – where is big business in Poland investing” during the 2nd Congress of Polish Capital.

On December 5, 2018 the winners of the 6th “Polish Company — International Champion” award were announced at a gala organised by PwC and the Puls Biznesu daily which was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Development and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Polish Pharmacoeconomics Society held its XV International Conference on 30 November – 1 December 2017 in Warsaw, Poland. Adamed Group was a partner of the event. The conference involved workshops and a number of track sessions.

The Adamed Group has acquired the controlling block of shares in Dat Vi Phu, Vietnam’s fastest-growing pharmaceutical company. The transaction is the largest direct Polish investment in Vietnam to-date. The agreement was signed in Hanoi in the presence of Polish President Andrzej Duda and Vietnam’s President Trần Đại Quang

From 24–26 October of this year, Adamed Group participated for the seventeenth time in one of the most prestigious events of the pharmaceutical industry — CPhI Worldwide. This year’s edition, held in Frankfurt, brought together 2,500 exhibitors from nearly 153 countries who had the unique opportunity to attend over 150 free industry meetings.

Bartłomiej Żerek, Head of the Innovations Department in the R&D Division at Adamed Group, delivered a lecture on the works on innovative anti-cancer particles conducted under the projects: ONCO-3CLA (POIG 1.4) and ONCOTRAIL (Strategmed).

The 13th Fall Symposium of the Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Industry was held from 18 to 19 October this year in Jachranka. One part of the event was the debate entitled ‘Modern pharmaceutical and cosmetics production sites’ with Dr Bartłomiej Rodawski, Chief Operations Officer at Adamed Group, as one of the speakers.

From 19–20 October in Gdansk, an important biotechnological industry event was held — the Bioinnovation International Summit 2017.

From 11–14 October, one of the key events for Polish neurologists was held in Gdansk. The meeting of scientists, doctors as well as residents and education specialists was held for the 23rd time. At the meeting, new authorities of the Polish Neurological Society were elected. Adamed Group was the partner of three subject matter sessions of this year’s event.

On 9 November, the editors of the Rzeczpospolita daily held a debate on the use of EU funds. The debate featured representatives from the world of politics, science, and business. Among them was Tomasz Wiewióra, Head of the Investment Financing Department, at Adamed Group.

Improved cancer diagnosis, the use of AI in medical imaging, or implants to cure brain tumours — these projects, among others, will be developed by Adamed Group with their creators under the MIT Enterprise Poland accelerator programme.

Nearly 200 submissions were sent in for the ‘Adamed for Senior’ competition. Financial grants, each worth PLN 10,000, could be requested by organisations reporting completed or planned projects aimed at reinforcing senior participation in local community life and senior activation. Initiatives — up to three per institution — were collected from January to June 2017.

Until 17 September of this year, Warsaw Accelerator is accepting applications from companies and for projects in the fields of life science, energy, mobile, electronics, and IT. Under the five-month programme, qualified participants will work on their projects, attending workshops, individual sessions, and using networking. Once again, Adamed Group is a partner of this project.

Ten talented pupils, selected from seven thousand applications from all over Poland, have been awarded the main prize in the 3rd edition of the ADAMED SmartUP programme, organised by the Adamed Group Foundation.

On Saturday, 2 September 2017, this year’s edition of the Senior Parade took place under the motto ‘Siła wieku człowieku’ [Power of Age, Man]. Adamed Group was the strategic partner of the event.

On Monday, 5 June2017, at the invitation of the Ministry of Development, the Adamed Group Foundation participated in the first conference with the main purpose of beginning cooperation aimed at implementing sustainable development goals in Poland, as presented in the UN Resolution — “Transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”.

They have developed innovative technologies; now, they have an opportunity to use them to win over the American market. Finalists of the 2nd edition of MITEF — eight Polish startups, including two from Ścieżka Zdrowie [Path: Health], partnered by the Adamed Group, will go to Boston to present their solutions to investors from the US at the best technical university in the world.

Several thousand people from the business, new technologies, politics, and science communities met in Krakow between 31 May and 1 June this year during the Impact’17 conference — the largest event dedicated to innovations in Central Europe. The event’s partner was the Adamed Group.

The international conference “MedTrends 2017 — European Modern Health Care Forum” is over. Leading experts in cardiology, cardiac surgery, oncology, hematology, neurology, and genetics met on 16 and 17 May in Zabrze. The event’s partner was the Adamed Group.

The 20th anniversary edition of the “Benefactor of the Year” competition rewarded the most socially responsible Polish companies. The Adamed Group Foundation won in the “Corporate Foundation” category, gaining recognition for its vastly successful ADAMED SmartUP programme.

Once again, the Polityka weekly and Deloitte have honoured Polish companies for their outstanding commitment and achievements in promoting corporate social responsibility. Adamed Group was awarded for the third time. Prioritizing this area of the company's activities has resulted in this year's most valuable laurel, the Złoty Listek CSR Polityki award for the year 2016.

Małgorzata Adamkiewicz, MD, PhD, Adamed Group CEO, received a prestigious award in the “People Who Change the Business World” competition organized by the Responsible Development Forum. The purpose of the competition is to reward individuals personally involved in promoting the concept of corporate social responsibility.

The ADAMED SmartUP programme is one of the finalists of the EMEA SABRE Awards 2017 in the Corporate Social Responsibility category. EMEA SABRE Awards are considered the most important public relations awards. Soon, exceptional scientific plans of talented winners of the first ADAMED SmartUP scientific and educational programme, organised by the Adamed Group Foundation since 2014, will be realised. Aleksandra Janowska, Michał Bączyk, and Maksymilian Głowacki received scholarships for higher education and further scientific development in the amount of PLN 40,000.

Once again, social activities of the Adamed Group have been recognised in a prestigious competition. The ADAMED SmartUP programme, carried out with support of the Walk agency, was the winner of the 14th Golden Clips awards, announced at a gala.

For another year in a row, the Adamed Group has been named Reliable Employer of the Year. The jury said that among other things it valued the company’s activities as regards the policy of development of employees at all levels, implementation of incentive systems, and working conditions.

Supporting Polish innovative scientific thought and activities for the benefit of society, as well as continuous popularisation of science are fundamental principles of the Adamed Group Foundation.

On 3 November the Warsaw Technology Accelerator, with the Adamed Group as a partner, started recruiting start-ups and technology companies for an acceleration programme. This is an opportunity which is certain to lead to expansion of knowledge, development of skills, and making of new contacts, which is extremely helpful for innovators at the beginning of their entrepreneurial journey.

The Adamed Group has been honoured in the Wiosło CSR 2016 opinion poll organised by the Łódź editorial office of Gazeta Wyborcza. The commemorative diploma was presented in mid-November during the European Economic Forum in Łódź. Maciej Adamkiewicz, President of the Management Board, accepted the award on the company’s behalf.

On 21 October, two representatives of Adamed Group took part in the Poland 2.0 Summit in London. ADAMED SmartUP – the initiative launched in 2014 and aimed to reach the most talented Polish students and encourage them to strive after impressive research careers was presented by Anna Kosińska, while Mariusz Borkowski talked about the Medivio telemedicine platform.

A total of 21 companies from Poland were included in the list of the fastest growing tech businesses from Central and Eastern Europe according to the prestigious “Technology Fast 50” ranking by Deloitte. This year, the top ten positions were all taken by newcomers. Adamed Group is a partner of this unique initiative which promotes young Polish businesses at the global level.

The Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) and the Committee on Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI) of the European Parliament in Brussels organize public hearings on the e-Health developments in the EU.

Adamed Group has become one of the Strategic Partners of the Responsible Business Forum (FOB) – a key CSR organization in Poland. When admitting the Group as one of its Partners, the Forum took into consideration its good business practices, the responsible approach to business implemented into its everyday operations and the perspectives for the development of CSR concepts in Poland.

Science is not at all boring, and scientific topics can be presented in a creative and unconventional manner. The “30 laboratories for Adamed 30th anniversary” competition, organized by Adamed Group, has proven beyond doubt how true that is. The competition targeted school students from all across Poland, who competed to win state-of-the art equipment for a school laboratory.

Małgorzata and Maciej Adamkiewicz have been awarded in the “Innovator” category as a part of the 1st edition of the competition “Polish Entrepreneur 2015 by Gazeta Polska Codziennie daily”. The competition is aimed to promote attitudes that foster the development of the Polish economy and contribute to the promotion of economic patriotism.

Adamed Group, a Polish pharmaceutical and biotechnology company, is on the right track to join the 20 largest pharma industry players in the Czech Republic and Slovakia within the next five years. In 2016, it acquired four local pharmaceutical companies, incorporating them into its international business structure.

Almost 3,500 registered participants, 14 unique scientific puzzles and 50 attendees of an innovative scientific campus: these numbers are the best illustration of how successful the second ADAMED SmartUP scientific programme was. On 12 September, at an official gala at the Warsaw-Based Copernicus Science Centre, this year’s ten programme winners were presented.

The Polish market has just witnessed implementation of the Medivio telemedicine platform, which is the first certified telemedicine centre that enables patient–doctor contacts and is available to anyone anywhere. Participants in this year’s Economic Forum in Krynica were the first to learn about the functionality of this unique tool that streamlines the therapeutic process.

“Innovations developed by Polish universities should be commercialised more often. Yet the current system rewards academic centres for a number of academic publications, somehow forgetting that making a concept public prevents it from being patented,” emphasised Paweł Roszczyk during the ‘Innovation Eagles’ debate arranged by the daily newspaper “Rzeczpospolita.

Gazeta Finansowa has prepared a listing of the 10 Most Innovative Pharmaceutical Companies in Poland. Adamed Group was recognised as one of them.

On June 5–7, 2015, the 12th Doctors Road Cycling Championship was held in Bychawa near Lublin. After a hard struggle, contestants from the Adamed Group stood on the podium.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has formed a part of Adamed Group’s activity for years. Every year the organisation’s educational and health programmes reach more and more people, and both the way they are executed and the standards respected are appreciated by their stakeholders.

On May 16, during the gala ceremony with over 400 distinguished guests attending, the Polish Business Roundtable's Jan Wejchert Awards were presented for the fifth time. Małgorzata Adamkiewicz, M.D., Ph.D., CEO of Adamed Group, was a member of the 20-person Award Committee.

The periodic, informal gathering of the representatives of the EU Member States governments, who pursue an increase in industrialization, was held this year for the first time in Poland. The 4th Ministerial Conference of The Friends of Industry was hosted by the Polish Ministry of Development. Maciej Adamkiewicz, CEO of Adamed Group, was also invited to participate in this prestigious meeting.

On 18 February 2016, the procedure of awarding Quality Marks by Polskie Stowarzyszenie Zarządzania Kadrami [the Polish Association for HR Management] turned out to have a good result for Adamed Group.

Adamed Group became a partner of the acceleration programme MIT Enterprise Forum Poland, aimed at supporting start-ups with respect to the effective commercialization of technology.

The Adamed Group Foundation, organiser of the ADAMED SmartUP Programme, is among the finalists of the 11th Promoter of Science competition. Anna Kosińska, Project Manager of the ADAMED SmartUP Programme, accepted a diploma in the “Non-scientific institutions” category at an official gala held on 17 December in Warsaw.

Three prizewinners in the ADAMED SmartUP Programme — Olga Grudniak, Filip Krawczyk and Marcin Pitek, together with their colleagues in a team led by Professor Michał Obuchowski from the Intercollegiate Faculty of Biotechnology UG&MUG — are working on finding a solution to the problem of antibiotic resistance of bacteria.

On 27 and 28 October 2015, one of the largest conferences on the innovation ecosystem in Poland and in the region was held in Gdańsk. At the event, the Adamed Group was represented by Małgorzata Stokrocka, Research & Development Director, and Bartłomiej Żerek, Innovation Department Manager.

The Adamed Group, which supports development of Polish scientific ideas, was, for the second time, the main partner of Polityka Science Awards, a unique scholarship competition in which awards are given to young, ambitious and creative scientists.

Between 13 and 15 October 2015, CPhI Worldwide, the most important event in the pharmaceutical and biotechnological sector in the world, was held once again, in Madrid. This was the fifteenth time the Adamed Group participated in the event.

Between 30 September and 2 October 2015, an international meeting of business circles attended by representatives of scientific, cultural and political communities, was held in Sopot. The European Forum for New Ideas gathered 1,000 people from all over the world. The Adamed Group was represented at the event by Maciej Adamkiewicz, President of the company’s Management Board.

On 8 October 2015, a gala summarising the first educational and scientific programme ADAMED SmartUP, gathering the most talented young people in Poland, was held in the Syrena Theatre in Warsaw. At the gala, 10 winners of the main prize, who will be included in a programme of individual educational consultations, were announced.

On 26 September 2015, a meeting of Young Innovators’2015 took place as part of the 19th Science Festival held in the Staszic Palace in Warsaw. This is an initiative aimed at eliminating barriers and creating prospects for development for young scientists and inventors.

On 28 September 2015, the official premiere of Chemia, an amazing film inspired by the life of Magdalena Prokopowicz — founder of the Rak’n’Roll Foundation — took place. The Adamed Group, a biotechnological and pharmaceutical company, currently conducting advanced research works on the Polish innovative anti-cancer drug, is its partner.

On 24 September 2015, “Super Biznes Golden Laurel” Awards ceremony was held in the Primate’s Palace in Warsaw. This award is intended for individuals, institutions and companies the activities of which contribute to development and prove to be particularly beneficial to the Polish economy. One of these distinctions was awarded to the Adamed Group.

On 21 August this year, the latest conference within the “Poles’ health: a self-portrait” cycle took place in Gdańsk on the initiative of Professor Marian Zembala, Minister of Health.

Protein electrophoresis, diagnosis of a patient with atypical symptoms, surgical wash, analysis of DNA sequence, building an aerodynamic profile or operating a flight simulator – these are only part of issues dealt with by young enthusiasts of knowledge during the innovative science camp organised under the ADAMED SmartUP project.

On 26–28 June 2015 workshops of the Academy of Young Scholars of the Polish Academy of Sciences were held. The main objective of the meeting was to develop skills needed in scientific work and to meet the problems which graduate students encounter on their way from the threshold of a scientific career.

On 24–25 June the sixth meeting of the Poland Pharma Commerce Forum was held in Warsaw. Every year, the conference is attended by Presidents and Directors of leading pharmaceutical companies, who share their insights and knowledge of the medical industry.

How to use the potential of Polish researchers at home and abroad? Answers to this and many other questions were sought during the Polish Scientific Networks – a conference addressed to Polish scientists currently residing abroad. The debate also gathered researchers and students implementing research projects in the country, but interested in international cooperation.

The first edition of the ADAMED SmartUP scholarship programme is already at an advanced stage – interviews for the science camp were held at the end of May. The Scientific Council of the Programme has chosen 50 young science enthusiasts who are going to the innovative science camp in July.

Adamed Group found its way to the reputable group of companies who have won the 4th edition of Polityka’s CSR Leaves. This award was granted to Adamed for implementing the most important corporate categories in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility and continuous improvement of its CSR activities.

Students of the medical profile class from the Polish Army Secondary School in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki visited laboratories of the Adamed Group on 27 May 2015. The young people learned about the specifics of work of scientists from the biological and chemical laboratories and gained information about the ADAMED SmartUP programme.

How to use the genetic code in a smart way? Why discovering the DNA structure in 1953 was one of the most important achievements of the 20th century? Why does the information written on several million kilometres of human DNA make the human so special? These and other questions were answered by ADAMED SmartUP experts during the Educational Picnic of the Warsaw University of Technology.

The final of the fourth edition of the Jan Wejchert Award

On 23 April, the fourth finale of Jan Wejchert Polish Business Roundtable Award tool place in Warsaw. The ceremony was attended by the President of the Republic of Poland Bronisław Komorowski, the Speaker of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland Radosław Sikorski and more than 500 representatives of the world of business, culture, science and administration.

A cycle of free weekend workshops for the youth – ADAMED SmartUP Academy – has started at the end of March as a part of the ADAMED SmartUP programme. So far, the course has been organised in Warsaw and Katowice.

On 9 April this year, in Lubomirski Palace in Warsaw, an award ceremony for “The Most Desired Employers in the Opinion of Professionals and Managers” took place.

Can little things be of significant importance? What impact do little insects have on our lives and the world that surrounds us? Can anybody become a physicist? During the TEDxWarsaw event, held on 18 March 2015 at Teatr Polski in Warsaw, the representatives of ADAMED SmartUP talked about the significance of little things from the perspective of the world of science.

The 12th edition of the Career Program was launched on 3 March 2015. This prestigious program entails paid internships organised by the Polish Business Roundtable. Both students and graduates under the age of 30 are invited to submit applications by 6 May. The Adamed Group is the partner of the competition.

The 14th Championships in Alpine Skiing of Pharmaceutical Companies were held from 6 to 7 March 2015 in Krynica Zdrój. In the Power Race and Men’s Giant Slalom competitions, the Adamed representatives took the top places on the podium. A total of 183 competitors from 23 pharmaceutical companies took part in the event.

At the beginning of March, the Medical University in Łódź opened its doors to learners of lower secondary and secondary schools. Prospective students had an opportunity to become familiar with the educational offer of the university and the activity of the students’ scientific associations.

On 19 February 2015, the 25th anniversary of the Polish Chamber of Commerce (KIG) was celebrated in Warsaw under the slogan “Experience changes perspective”. During the official ceremony Maciej Adamkiewicz, President of the Adamed Group, received a commemorative medal handed out by Andrzej Arendarski, President of KIG.

On 31 January 2015, a conference entitled “Next Step Poland” was held in Cambridge, whose aim was to promote Polish employers among the students studying at universities in Great Britain. Over 150 Polish students from British universities took part in this event.

The 6th Adamed Group Alpine Skiing Competition was held from 23 to 25 January in Białka Tatrzańska. This year’s competition attracted not only skiing experts but also amateurs daring to compete with professionals.

Maciej Adamkiewicz, President of the Adamed Group, and Anna Kosińska, Project Manager of the ADAMED SmartUP program, took part in an exceptional meeting with the students at the Stanislaw Staszic Secondary School No 14 in Warsaw. During the ceremony of handing out the award, the learners expressed their gratitude for supporting the activity of the scientific chemistry circle.

Polish enterprises play an increasing role when it comes to initiating changes in economy as well as in social politics. The tasks of modern companies involve not only running a business activity but also initiating and supporting activities of social nature. The Adamed group is an example of an organization which for years has identified with and responded to important social issues.

A newly-launched educational initiative ADAMED SmartUP aims at supporting and promoting talented students to be future leaders of the innovative economy. The programme presents a non-standard outlook on science, develops young people’s passions and interests as far as exact and natural sciences, and, as a result, paves the way for their scientific career.

Adamed Group has launched an ambassador project aimed at university students, who, thanks to this initiative, will have a priority in internship programs. The program also gives the opportunity to gain precious experience in operational activities.

From 21 October to 25 November 2014 the project team of the first edition of the all-Poland science and education project called ADAMED SmartUP covered over 5200 km, visiting 20 best high schools in 18 Polish cities.

In November 2014 an event called the Polish-American Week of Innovation was held in California. The Adamed Group was represented by Maciej Adamkiewicz – the President of Board, Katarzyna Dubno – Director of External Relations and Health Economics Department and Marcin Kołaczkowski – leading Scientist in the CNS Scientific Department.

On November 5th 2014 the Adamed Group was visited by a 7-person delegation comprising of the members of the European Patent Office headed by the Vice President Raimund Lutz as well as the representatives of the Polish Patent Office – Alicja Adamczak, the President of UPRP and the office experts. The guests were greeted by the President Maciej Adamkiewicz.

The 10th conference of the Pharma Industry was held from 27 to 28 October 2014. The Adamed Group took the honorary patronage of the event.

On 27 October 2014 the second all-Poland scientific conference was held under the title: “Social logistics health protection, responsible supply chains”. The organizers of this event were Łódzki University and Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, its partner was the Adamed Group.

From 22 to 23 October, the Polish Economic Congress entitled „Science for Business, business for science” was organized in Warsaw by the Employers of the Republic of Poland. The honorary guest of the congress was the President of Poland Bronisław Komorowski.

On October 16 2014, entrepreneurs from the EU countries had a chance to attend a debate on the European economy according to the rules applied in the European Parliament. During this event, the Adamed Group was represented by the company President Maciej Adamkiewicz.

The inauguration of a science educational project called ADAMED Smart UP was held on 17 October 2014 in the Warsaw University library. The project was initiated by the Adamed Group Foundation established in July 2014.

The Scientific Awards of Polityka have been given out for the 14th time! This year, for the first time, the Adamed Group was the partner of this prestigious and highly appreciated scientific competition.

Being innovative in the Pharma industry was the main topic of the presentation delivered by Katarzyna Dubno, the Director of External Relations and Health Economics Department at Adamed group, during the 13th all-Poland conference ‘Polish woman in Europe’.

The Adamed Group became the partner of the conference „Innovative Europe – the future of the cooperation of science and business" which took place within the European Forum of New Ideas. Krzysztof Kurowski, the Director of Research and Development Department, described the way that the Adamed Group has come to become the leader of innovations on the national pharmaceutical market.

PhD Małgorzata Adamkiewicz, General Director at Adamed Group, took part in a debate entitled ‘Leaders of the Future – how to find them and prepare for challenges of the 21st century?’ which was held within The European Forum of New Ideas (EFNI) in Sopot from 1 to 3 October 2014.

Adamed Group is among 15 companies nominated to the 12th edition of the Presidential Economic Award. Our company has been nominated in the new, “Permanent Success” category, created on the initiative of the President to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the first partially free elections to the Parliament and the Senate.

The Adamed Group participated in the 10th anniversary celebrations of Poland being a member of the European Union. A special lecture was prepared for this occasion, titled „How is innovation created?” Dr. Jerzy Pieczykolan, Head of the Research Laboratory at the Adamed Group, will speak on how innovative therapies are developed.

Improving competitiveness and support from the state in the globalization process are the factors by which Poland has been steadily gaining investment attractiveness, and national companies are able to foster innovation in their operations.

The Ski Championships of Polish Pharmaceutical Firms have earned a place in the calendar of the Adamed Group’s winter events. The championship, held this year for the 13th time, has shown that spectacular successes by the Adamed Group Ski Team have also become a tradition.

The Adamed Group launched the Adamed University at the end of 2013 as a way to support Polish innovation by strengthening managerial competencies. As part of this unique program, the company gives a chance to its cooperators to participate in prestigious trainings and workshops, thus creating a working environment that fosters professional development.

The Adamed Group Alpine Skiing Championships were held for the 5th time on February 7th – 9th 2014 in Oravice (Slovakia). This event also served as qualifications to the Adamed Ski Team, which will be led by team captain Bartosz Komendera, while it represents our company in the Polish Pharmaceutical Companies Alpine Skiing Championships 2014.

In 2013 the Adamed Group signed a three year contract with Korean-based Daesan for the distribution of aronia powder. As part of this cooperation, a delegation of the Korean partner visited the Adamed Group at the end of January. The purpose of the visit was to discuss developing aronia products and their uses in medicine.

Maciej Adamkiewicz, President of the Adamed Group, has been awarded by the President’s Gold Cross of Merit for extraordinary merit for the country and its citizens. The decoration ceremony was held on November 16th, 2013 in the Świętokrzyski Voivodeship Office in Kielce.

At the beginning of November another edition of BIO-Europe was held in Vienna – the largest European partnering event in the area of biotechnological innovation. The Adamed Group has become an official partner of the 23rd Economic Forum and the Health Care Forum held on 3-5 September in Krynica. This year, Maciej Adamkiewicz, President of the Adamed Group, will participate in the panel dedicated to R&D.

For the 13th time now, the Adamed Group will participate in the biggest trade show in the world, CPhI Worldwide, which this time will be held on October 22nd-24th in Frankfurt.

The Adamed Group has become the official sponsor of the Polish National ATP Tennis Championships – the most important amateur tournament during the season, which will be held on 13-18 July 2013 at Warszawianka tennis courts.Nearly 400 contestants will participate, including a number of big sport and media names.

The Adamed Group Cycling Team has returned from the 11th Polish Street Cycling Championships for Doctors in Pharmacists with three National Championship titles and one 2nd place title. The event was held on 14th and 15th of June in Bychawa near Lublin.

A new television campaign was launched on March 9th that promotes Oeparol Extra Odporność, Adamed Group’s innovative diet supplement that acts to strengthen the body’s natural defense and immune system. The spot is aired on TVP, TVN and Polsat.

The 7th edition of BIO-Europe Spring was held in Barcelona on March 11th – 13th. It is the biggest European conference partnership conference in the area of biopharmaceutical innovation. Representatives of the Adamed Group attended the event.

Adamed Group Ski Team has won first place in the prestigious "Team Parallel Slalom POWER RACE" during the 12th Pharmaceutical Companies Alpine Skiing Championships, held on 7-9 March in Krynica-Zdrój. A total of 185 contestants from 24 pharmaceutical companies took part in the event.

The 10th edition of the prestigious “Kariera” internship program, organized by the Polish Business Roundtable, has just launched. Adamed Group is an official partner.

Adamed will participate in the seventh annual BIO-Europe Spring international partnering conference. The spring edition of the largest European biopartnering conference will be held in Barcelona, Spain March 11–13, 2013 at the CCIB Convention Centre.

The radio campaign for Flexinovo titled “Rich composition for healthy and strong joints” has been reinitiated in the beginning of February. Its coverage includes nationwide stations: RMF, ZET, Polskie Radio 1 and 2 as well as local stations.

The 4th Adamed Group Alpine Skiing Championships were held in excellent snow conditions and perfect weather on January 11th – 13th 2013 in Oravice. This competition is at the same time categorized as qualifiers to the Adamed Group Ski Team, which will represent us in the Polish Pharmaceutical Companies Alpine Skiing Championships in Krynica.

The Adamed Group received Prix Galien nomination for its research as part of the ONCO-3CLA project. Its aim is to develop targeted therapies for solid tumors. Research is conducted in Adamed Group laboratories in collaboration with leading researchers in the country. Winners of the award were announced on November 20th during an official gala held in Hotel Intercontinental.

The official gala of the 10th edition of the Pearls of Polish Economy competition was held on November 16th 2012 at the Royal Castle in Warsaw. This event brought together over 400 representatives from the world of science, culture, business as well as officials from public institutions and diplomats.

The Lodz Region Business Award has been granted for 9 years by the Lodz Voivode and the Marshal of the Lodz Voivodeship. It is meant recognize entrepreneurs and inventors who have had significant input into modernizing and developing the Lodz Voivodeship and have built a positive image of the region in the country and abroad.

Poland Treats Hypertension - national program supported by the Adamed Group among top Polish health promotion initiatives.

For the fifth time, an annual meeting between representatives of local administration with representative of local companies and institutions was held on October 7th - 8th in Lodz. The focus of this year’s meeting was innovative development of the economy in the regions. Representatives of the Adamed Group took part in a number of panels and debates.

The 8th Rynek Zdrowia Forum was held on October 24th-25th. It is one of the most important events of the year, which focuses on the current status and perspectives of healthcare developments. Representatives of public administration, and pharmaceutical and medical industries took part in a number of panels. During the Forum, the Adamed Group presented results of its ONCO-3 CLA project.

Rich ingredients for healthy and strong joints is the new slogan for a radio advertising campaign of Flexinovo, which began on October 29th and will run until November 18th. Radio spots will be aired on Polish Radio 1, Radio ZET, RMF FM and Radio Złote Przeboje.

A television campaign promoting the Nervomix product line has just launched and will continue until the end of November. It will be aired on TV stations with nationwide coverage: TVP, TVN, Polsat as well as specialty channels.

The Polish Union of Cosmetics Industry celebrated its ten year anniversary on October 8th-9th 2012. This event was a good excuse to hold a debate on the future of the cosmetics industry.

On October 9th to 11th, the Adamed Group attended the 23rd edition of CPhI, which this year took place in Madrid. Over 2000 exhibitors and almost 30000 attendants from over 130 countries took part in one of the biggest world events in the pharmaceutical and biotechnological events.

The Adamed Group was recognized not only as a manufacturer of medicines but also as the most innovative, Polish pharmaceutical-medical company conducting research in areas of neuropsychiatry and oncology. Maciej Adamkiewicz, President of the Company, personally accepted the award during the official gala that took place in Royal Łazienki Palace on October 4th, 2012.

At the end of the last month, Dr. Jerzy Pieczykolan, representing the Adamed Group, participated in the „Sygnały Dnia” radio program aired on Polish Radio Program 1.

One of the most important gatherings for gynaecologists and obstetrics during the year, the 31st Congress of the Polish Gynecological Society, was held on September 19th – 22nd in Katowice, Poland. The central theme of the meeting was “21st Century Woman”.

On September 20th, during the inaugural gala of the 16th International Congress of the Polish Cardiac Society, once again the Adamed Group was recognized with a title of Partner of Polish Cardiology 2012. Małgorzata Adamkiewicz, CEO of the Adamed Group personally accepted the award from the hands of Prof. Janina Stępińska, Ph.D., M.D. - President of the PCS.

At the end of September, Wprost weekly will once again choose companies that will be awarded the Innovator 2012 award. The Adamed Group is among nominated pharmaceutical and medical companies.

On 6 September 2012 the 22nd Economic Forum in Krynica-Zdrój drew to a close.

The XXII Economic Forum will be held on September 4th-6th in Krynica. Once again President of the Adamed Group, Maciej Adamkiewicz, will participate in the event.

Breakthrough results of research into innovative therapies for patients and ongoing collaboration with the scientific community were decisive in awarding the Adamed Group the Market Leader of Innovation 2012 title.

Scientist from the Adamed Group, Dr. Jerzy Pieczykolan and Marcin Szczeciński, describe work on the ONCO-3 CLA innovative project in an article published in the latest edition of The Polish Science Voice.

On 5 July 2012, an expert seminar titled „Effective use of public funds for developing innovation and competitiveness of Polish economy in 2014-2020” was held. Attending the event was Maciej Adamkiewicz, President of the Adamed Group.

On June 23rd of this year, at Hotel Gromada, an official gala was held during which, on the initiative of the Office of the Marshal of the Łódź Voivodeship, Maciej Adamkiewicz was awarded with a statue for promoting a Polish brand through implementing innovative solutions in the pharmaceutical-biotechnology industry.

X Doctors and Pharmacists Road Cycling Championships were held on June 8th and 9th, 2012 in Bychawa.

Adamed will attend the 2012 edition of BIO International Convention – World’s largest Bio-Partnering Conference. The event takes place from 18th to 21st June in Boston, Massachusetts.

The Adamed Group, as the only Polish pharmaceutical company in Poland, has been nominated to this award in the „Innovation” category. Małgorzata and Maciej Adamkiewicz have personally received the official nomination.

The National Week of Measuring Blood Pressure has come to an end. During its duration, particular professional groups, such as journalists and health sector employees had an opportunity to measure their blood pressure. Former Minister of Health and current Speaker of the Parliament, Ewa Kopacz, also took part in the initiative.

The IV European Economic Congress was held on May 14th – 16th in Katowice. The Adamed Group was a partner and active participant in the sessions dedicated to the pharmaceutical industry and drug policy as well as innovations.

“Pabianice Health and Beauty Day” took place on May 13th. Participants of this event had an opportunity to receive health advice and beauty tips. One of the partners of this event was the Adamed Group.

The President’s Economic Award is a prestigious distinction for companies and scientific teams that show remarkable contribution to the development of the national economy, building its prestige and image.

The IV European Economic Congress will be held in Katowice on May 14th – 16th. It is one of the biggest and most important economic events in Central Europe. The Adamed Group is once again a partner of one of the thematic session taking place during this event.
