Adamed at a meeting with HCMC business leaders

On Tuesday 28 July 2020, Magdalena Krakowiak, Head of Public Affairs & CSR in Vietnam and Chairwoman of the International Quality Medicines (IQMED) – Generics and Biosimilar, the Sector Committee of EuroCham, which Adamed Pharma is a member of, attended a Dialogue with HCMC's Leaders in Vietnam.

The discussion focused on the opportunities under the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement and recommendations of the EuroCham Sector Committees on how to increase direct foreign investments in Vietnam.

Magdalena presented the idea of the establishment of an external Healthcare Expert Advisory Group supporting DAV (Drug of Vietnam). Education and training would form a backbone of this Group works. Creating regulations enabling a smooth EVFTA implementation both for domestic and foreign pharmaceutical companies, technology transfer rules and regulations to unlock great potential of high-quality made in Vietnam drugs and further optimization of the state budget spending are among the key tasks of the Group.
