Adamed at the Economic Forum in Krynica

- I am glad that I will once again take part in such an important industry event. An event that gives a chance to establish dialogue between public administration and business as well as to share views on current and important matters for the pharmaceutical and medical sector. Polish medicine has a great number of assets. If we take advantage of them, we will seize the opportunity to develop effective and marketable therapies, safe medicaments and a dynamically developing sector that achieves success on foreign markets – says Maciej Adamkiewicz, President of the Adamed Group.

Mr. Adamkiewicz will participate in a debate (Wednesday, September 5th) on the matter of reimbursement of medicines as a key element of every health care system. All speakers will review the legal act regulating reimbursements and assess which of its elements still need improvement and which are effective. Also planned for discussion is the matter of to what degree does the act regulating reimbursement of medicines give patients access to innovative therapies. 

It is important that during the panel in Krynica experts will have an opportunity to exchange their points of view and together discuss current matters, concerns and ideas related to the pharmaceutical and medical sector. However, it is vital for the conclusions of this discussion to be implemented into long-term strategies of the government that will contribute to the development of this industry in Poland – adds Mr. Adamkiewicz.
