More than a dozen of eminent experts from nine European and Asian countries and nearly 3,000 physicians from all over the world will participate in a unique event dedicated to COVID-19 treatment. 1-st International Conference Adamed "World Medicine in Daily Practice. COVID-19: current state of knowledge and clinical implications in medical practice" will take place on 3-4 December 2020.

Due to the pandemic, the entire event will take place in an online format across different time zones.

The experts invited to the conference include:

Prof. Andrzej M. Fal – Head of the Clinical Department of Allergology, Lung Diseases and Internal Diseases, Central Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration in Warsaw, the President of the Management Board of the Polish Society of Public Health.

Prof. Robert Flisiak – President of the Polish Society of Epidemiologists and Infectiologists, Head of the Clinical Department of Infectious Diseases and Hepatology, Medical University of Białystok.

Dr Jose Antonio Garcia Donaire – President of the Spanish Society of Hypertension, lecturer at the Madrid Open University.

Prof. Richard Ceska – President of the Czech Society of Internal Diseases, Member of the Administrative Council of the European Federation of Internal Medicine (EFIM).

Claudio Ferri – former President and Secretary of the Scientific Committee of the Italian Society of Hypertension, Member of the Italian Society for Cardiovascular Prevention and the Italian Alliance for Cardio- and Cerebrovascular Diseases initiated by the Italian Ministry of Health.

Topics discussed during the Conference will include: current treatment guidelines, non-specific symptoms of SARS-CoV-2 infection, depression and the impact of COVID-19 on the condition of the patient and the physician, and the care for pregnant patients.

The event will be an excellent opportunity for the international community of healthcare professionals to share their experiences related to the treatment and prevention of COVID-19.
