Aid Matters. We Were Present at the International “Ukrainian Recovery Conference”

Our aid efforts and activities for Ukraine have once again been recognised. At the invitation of the UK government, Adamed hosted a unique international “Ukrainian Recovery Conference”. During the event, our representative had the opportunity to share information about the range of aid Adamed provides to Ukraine.

Unity, stability and security – these were the three main themes of the event organised by the British and Ukrainian governments. As experience has shown, these are values that are particularly close to us, Adamed associates, as well. From the very first day of Russian aggression against Ukraine, we have been providing uninterrupted support to the Ukrainian side, bringing necessary aid. Its value to date – the bulk of which is drugs and medical aids – has reached PLN 14.5 million. The welfare of patients and ensuring their drug security – these are the ideas that drive the daily work of the entire organisation.

The two-day event, held in London on 21-22 June this year, brought together more than 1,000 participants representing major EU institutions, 33 international organisations, more than 400 companies and 130 civil society organisations from 60 countries.
